Pupils Express Worries That Artificial Intelligence Is Weakening Their Study Abilities, Investigation Reveals
As per new research, learners are sharing worries that employing artificial intelligence is weakening their capacity to learn. Numerous complain it renders schoolwork “overly simple”, while some say it limits their creativity and stops them from learning fresh abilities.
Extensive Use of AI Among Pupils
An analysis focused on the use of AI in UK schools revealed that only 2% of students aged 13 and 18 stated they did not use artificial intelligence for their academic tasks, while four-fifths said they frequently utilized it.
Negative Effect on Abilities
Regardless of artificial intelligence's prevalence, 62% of the students stated it has had a unfavorable influence on their competencies and growth at their educational institution. Roughly half of the two thousand students surveyed said they were anxious their fellow students were “secretly using AI” for studies without their instructors being able to identify it.

Only 31% said they didn’t think employing artificial intelligence had a adverse effect on any of their abilities. But, most of pupils stated using AI aided them develop fresh abilities, for instance 18% who reported it assisted them grasp challenges, and 15% who reported it aided them generate “original and superior” thoughts.
